MPIOC Spring Social
Venue: Marconi Automotive Museum
Role: Co-Chair Overseeing the Event and Sponsor Relations
About the Event: Meeting Professionals International – Orange County (MPIOC) throws yearly fundraisers to raise money for their organization. This money is used to educate and bring together Planners and Suppliers throughout Southern California to form a network of amazing people. This time around I had the pleasure of serving as Co-Chair with one of MPIOC’s Special Events Directors Dawn Petrawn, it was such a rewarding experience to be a part of one the Special Events put together for this close knit community of event industry professionals. I was asked to be co-chair last minute due to one of our director’s being unable to make the night, it was an honor to be trusted to help over see the event and help give direction to the committee. Responsibilities also included Sponsor Relationships, making sure that our Sponsors had everything they needed and were happy since this event would not be possible without them. Through our Silent Auction and “Let’s Make A Deal” Live Game, MPIOC was able to raise enough funds for the coming year.
